November 6, 2004 Men's Results Cougars Finish 12th at NCAA Regionals Southern Illinois University Edwardsville ended its season with a 12th place showing, 346 points, in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday at the SIUE Cross Country Course. Grand Valley State took home the team championship with a total of 65 points. Senior Ryan Boyll led the way for SIUE finishing in 36th place with a time of 33 minutes,43.35 seconds in 10,000 meters. Jon Sandowksi was the next highest finisher at 57th recording time of 34:30.83. Freshman Eric Steffens finished in 63rd at 34:42.03, and Brian Taghon came in 86th with a mark of 35:38.82. Grand Valley State's freshman Nate Peck was the winner with a time of 32:01.81. -siue cougars- |
