Stremlau, Cougars Stun Hawks
         Christina Stremlau scored with just 13 seconds left as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville outlasted Quincy 1-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference women's college soccer on Sunday afteroon.
         Stremlau took a pass from Katie Yearian dribbled in alone and put a shot past Hawks' goalie Lindsay Ringkamp for the win. SIUE improves to 12-4 overall and 8-1 in the GLVC. Quincy fell to 2-9-4 and 1-6-2 in the conference.
         Kim Roady picked up her fifth shuout of the year by making five saves. Roady's goals against average dropped to 0.12 with the win. The shutout gives SIUE 10 for the year, that ties a school record last set in 1997.
         The Cougars and Hawks each had 12 shots a piece in the contest. SIUE won for the fifth time in a row and the 11th time in their last 12 games. During those 12 games the Cougars have out scored their opponents 28-4.
         SIUE has the week off before they face Bellarmine in the final regular season home game next Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
