NKU Ousts Cougars
         KENOSHA, Wis. - A pair of second-half goals gave Northern Kentucky a 2-0 victory over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the semifinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer tournament.
         Northern Kentucky avenged a earlier loss to the Cougars this season to improve its record to 15-3-1. SIUE exits the GLVC Tournament with a 13-6 mark. NKU will play the championship game on Sundaya against Wisconsin-Parkside, which defeated Bellarmine 3-1 in the other semifinal.
         Kristen Votapek and Amy Martini scored unassisted goals past SIUE goalkeeper Kim Roady. Votapek's ninth goal of the year was scored at 56:12. Martini's goal followed at 61:55.
         SIUE outshot the Norse 10-7 but couldn't capitalize on its opportunities. Lauren Piening captured six saves for the Norse.
