SIUE Downs Trinity International
         EDWARDSVILLE - Kristine Armstrong scored the game's only goal as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville defeated Trinity International 1-0 in women's college soccer action on Friday.
         SIUE improved to 4-2 with the victory. Trinity International fell to 3-3.
         Armstrong dribbled in and shot from 15 yards out past Trinity goalkeeper Allison Budden at 22:03. SIUE held the shot lead 13-7 in the game.
         Kaci Backs recorded the shutout in goal for the Cougars, collecting four saves.
         SIUE next faces Saginaw Valley State on Sunday at Korte Stadium.
