Cougars Fall to NKU 3-0
         WILDER, KY. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville lost the battle for first place and its second consecutive game 3-0 to Northern Kentucky on Friday night.
         SIUE falls to 12-4, and 8-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse improve to 12-2 overall and 9-1 in the league.
         The Norse outshot the Cougars 11-6 in the contest.
         The Norse first goal came just 5:25 into the contest, and Kristen Votapak would give NKU a 2-0 lead at halftime with her goal in the 15th minute. Jeanna Goettelman finished off the scoring with a goal at 83:31.
         The Cougars visit Bellarmine on Sunday afternoon at noon.
