The teacher education programs at SIUE have integrated field experiences designed to enhance the classroom knowledge of the teacher candidate. Each field experience is unique and meets specific requirements as stipulated by the program of study.
Students must apply in advance for these field placements. The deadline is typically one semester prior to the field experience. The Office of Clinical Experiences, Certification and Advisement will work with local school districts and program faculty to secure the necessary placements.
