Campus tours are offered during fall and spring semesters at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. During the summer, tours are offered but start times will vary. Please note that we require 7 business days' notice for tours. If you would like to take a tour with less than 7 days' notice, please call the Office of Admissions at 800-447-SIUE from Illinois or Missouri, or 618-650-3705 from anywhere, to find out whether tours are available. If a tour is full, we welcome you to call our office for additional tour dates.
Upon arrival at the SIUE office of Admissions in Rendleman Hall, room 2120, you will meet with an admission counselor for approximately 30 minutes. You'll learn some the basics about SIUE and have a chance to ask questions.
Tours are conducted by SIUE student ambassadors, known as STARs (STudents Assisting in Recruiting). Campus tours include a walking narrative of our academic facilities, our fitness center and recreation areas, our dining facilities, and a freshman residence hall. The tour typically lasts an hour and a half. Evergreen Hall is available during tour times only for transfer students. If you are a transfer student and would like to see Evergreen Hall please call 618-650-3705 or 1-800-447-SIUE. Cougar Village is available to transfer students by appointment only. Appropriate accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made as requested on the reservation form.
